howard m conner arts 40 dr maurice ewing william lone star dietz contest closes for debaters town council to give dance aviation board cancels trip affair set for drown hall during house party weekend a dance on the saturday night of houseparty to be sponsored by the newly formed town council was discussed last night at a meet ing of the council robert h gal lagher bus 39 chairman of the social committee which is working on the dance in conjunction jvith the executive committee reported on the affair it was announced that the dance will be held in drown hall and that roy minninger's orchestra has been engaged tickets for the dance were given to each of the various town group section presi dents for them to sell in their sec tions the price of a couple ticket is 50 cents and five cents federal tax gallagher also reported that plans are being made to have most of the downstairs rooms in drown hall open the night of the dance and equipped with lounge chairs racks in the arcadia
