was set aside for fall house par ties by the interfraternity council at a meeting last night in drown hall the council set the time of the senior ball for friday nov 16 the house dances to take place on sat urday the place where the prom will be held was not decided upon final arrangements for an orches tra and a hall will be made by ralph m blythe e m 35 chair man of the prom committee blythe said that the price of tick ets for the ball would be determined by the orchestra to be engaged he has several nationally famous or chestras under consideration but cannot disclose their names for business reasons the ballroom in the hotel beth lehem is the most logical choice of the committee but the lower gym was brought up as a possible place one of the objections to the use of the lower gym is that it would limit the sale of tickets the prom committee feels that every under graduate should be given an oppor tunity to attend the ball improvements suggested although it was evident last year that the dancing facilities at the hotel bethlehem were crowded blythe plans an increased floor space through a better placing of the orchestra the muhlenberg-lehigh football game will be played nov 17 to provide entertainment for the guests furthermore the week-end coming after mid-semester reports offers a minimum of interference with school work the council de cided some of the reasons advanced for the holding of the ball on fri day are that the orchestra and the hotel can be engaged for less on a friday and that this arrangement would lend more unity to house party at the beginning of the meeting robert b jackson bus 35 pres ident of the council requested that as many houses as possible engage in intramural sports this year glassgold to speak on american artist whitney museum was set aside for fall house par ties by the interfraternity council at a meeting last night in drown hall the council set the time of the senior ball for friday nov 16 the house dances to take place on sat urday the place where the prom will be held was not decided upon final arrangements for an orches tra and a hall will be made by ralph m blythe e m 35 chair man of the prom committee blythe said that the price of tick ets for the ball would be determined by the orchestra to be engaged he has several nationally famous or chestras under consideration but cannot disclose their names for business reasons the ballroom in the hotel beth lehem is the most logical choice of the committee but the lower gym was brought up as a possible place one of the objections to the use of the lower gym is that it would limit the sale of tickets the prom committee feels that every under graduate should be given an oppor tunity to attend the ball improvements suggested although it was evident last year that the dancing facilities at the hotel bethlehem were crowded blythe plans an increased floor space through a better placing of the orchestra the muhlenberg-lehigh football game will be played nov 17 to provide entertainment for the guests furthermore the week-end coming after mid-semester reports offers a minimum of interference with school work the council de cided some of the reasons advanced for the holding of the ball on fri day are that the orchestra and the hotel can be engaged for less on a friday and that this arrangement would lend more unity to house party at the beginning of the meeting robert b jackson bus 35 pres ident of the council requested that as many houses as possible engage in intramural sports this year glassgold to speak on american artist whitney museum
