radiating at an output greater than that permitted under section 15 fcc rulesi and regulations there have been no complaints of interference or any trouble whatsoever peterman declared we were running submitted to the student body at the last election elections can be held at any time before may 1 and the date of installation can be set by the council however ar cadia feels there is a real benefit to be gained from mid-year elec tions that benefit is continuity if a new arcadia comes into office in february the old arcadia will be in school for four more months for consultation on committee work where the chief problem of continuity lies and for attendance in an advisory capacity at arcadia meetings jordan said that the student governmental body also voted to co dify the laws of arcadia also with an eye to continuity bas-ed on a plan submitted by ferris saydah bus 50 and paul loew enwarter bus 50 both of the nsa committee that all the mo tions and resolutions of a lasting or permanent nature as contrasted with the purely routine business motions be recorded in a book called arcadia statutes these laws will be available for guidance of the new arcadia and will be binding until repealed or amended by a new arcadia two qualifications for election to arcadia were proposed but both were defeated by votes of 9-3 and 9-2 respectively number one stated that all candidates have a minimum cum lative scholastic average of 1.8 and secondly that all candidates have attended four meetings of the government body before the date of election reasons given against the 1.8 supper with a briar slippers and a copy of es quire mr average comes from a town a few miles northeast of bethle hem and if he doesn't drive home once a month he knows someone who does mr average is
