lacocca m.e june 45 bill wehner chem e june 45 and al vetroski arts june 45 the traditional tapping took place yesterday noon at the snow cleared flagpole qualifications for membership are based to a great extent on ex tra-curricular activities a student must also be in the upper 35 of eligible men in their sixth sev enth or eighth semesters at the university the initiation and banquet will be washington d c the debate is sponsored by the national university extension association in cooperation with the national forensic league and scholastic magazaine the broad cast will take the form of a 45 minute program on the american forum of the air from the studios of the mutual network the topic chosen is resolved that the legal voting age in the united states should be reduced to 18 there will be six speakers on the program two adults and four young people the adult speakers will be congressman augustus w bennet of new york and dr wal ter c bell of the association of junior colleges congressman ben net will take the affirmative and dr bell the negative bob was a member of his high school varsity debating team and also was a member of the national forensic league the national honorary speech society comprised of 500 high schools he has at tended two national student con gresses sponsored by the nfl in 1943 and in 1944 at the 1944 con gress held at columbus ohio bob
