white managing editor provost and vice president david sanchez has been appointed assistant director of the national science foun dation nsf and will leave lehigh in june 1990 sanchez will head the mathematics and physical sciences directorate in washington d.c the largest division in the foundation with an annual budget of more than 500 million sanchez will oversee the progress of research nationwide in mathematics physics chemistry astronomy and materials science it's a chance to be in a top position in the science establishment it's a policy-making position in terms of science educa ranges from 4,100 to 5,800 per year for room and board sororities charge 3,800 to 5,100 per year for room and board to pay rent to the university the least expensive fraternity costs a student 4,100 per year for room and board while sororities range from by ted van horn brown and white news writer residential services said approx imately 14 percent of fraternity beds remain empty driving the cost of room and board at some fraternities to more than 5,800 per year according to associate director of residential services walt kei per sor orities are nearly full which makes their housing less
