contract had been signed with either group i would not have taken the holding dates if i had previously known about the ruling fritz said metz explained that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the problems if the concerts were performed and the prospects of renting the arena without sac sponsorship we decided that it was not a good idea to do it without the sac because univer sity students would not get the normal advantuges such as first-hand knowl edge of the concerts early ticket sales and better seating according to sac president pete fio retti 82 the sac is against any concerts during this period he called the situa tion a continuous problem that has been going on all year with the arena fritz feels no obligation to the uni versity and wants to operate as a separ ate entity computer games like asteroids and star wars pense said pense said he very much wants to get the programs back but no reward will be offered we don't want to make theft profitable and offering the reward would be a dangerous precedent he said the thief would not need to know too much pense said the set of manuals explains how to use the computer and the language used is basic it appears as though the person knew what they rock stabler arena was rocking and rolling last night as cheap trick performed with ufo unfortunately for the engineer basketball team its fans had to rock grace hall after a scheduling conflict denied the hoopsters their homecourt advantage cheap trick forces cogers out of stabler into grace by nicholas kim due to what he calls a lack of communication between stabler arena and the athletic department the sight of hist night's engineer east coast conference ecci basketball playoff game was pushed from the stabler arena to grace hall in order to accommodate the cheap trick concert according to richard fritz director of events at the arena this lack of communication revolves around the submission of team schedules to fritz's office so he is aware of home dates and can work events at stabler around them in this ease a november 11 1980 memorandum from the athletic department specified to reserve all engineer home games including march 2-7 ecc playoffs by the time he received this note fritz had already begun negotiations with representatives of cheap trick for a concert march 2 normally fritz said he would have sent out a hold notice to the
