driving was involved m an accident with a i m versity police cruiser on packer avenue todd holland of 540 montclair aye . was pronounced dead at mid night at si lukes hospital the accident occurred at with federal loans being cut those former students delinquent m their loan payments may be jeopardizing potential recipients chances of obtaining loans according to university bursar joseph petronio the lawsuits are a final attempt by the university to collect their unpaid federal and university-provided loans the first suits were filed thursday m northampton county court by attorney paul florenz a university lawyer com plaints will be filed against the remain ing students il they do not repay their loans petronio commented that federal reg ulations require suits m cases ol delin quent loans exceeding i(h ii we were to turn the loans back to the government there would be no action he said the there is reasonable expectation of non payment petronio added in the sunday call-chronicle florenz s.iid he knows this is just the beginning it's impossible to pin down i number of unpaid loans because it changes every day but the ones i know of there must be 100 to 150 more though the new policy involves law suits florenz noted that former students would have up until the day before they were sued to make arrangements to repay the former policy of writing let ters did not apply enough
