their help in the gigantic task of assembling facts about 132 million americans in two ways first by making sure that their parents will report on them to the census enumerator and second by supplying their parents with cer tain information they will need in order to report on them accurately the latter precaution is advisable even for students living at home since they may be at class when the enumerator ari'ives the queries on which parents are most likely to be uncertain are those relating to employment sta tus information is wanted on the following points it might be thought that parents princeton univer sity discussed the philosophy of democracy in a lecture friday in packard auditorium approxi mately 100 persons the majority of whom were townspeople at tended sponsored by the robert w blake honorary philosophic soci ety in conjunction with the fa culty lectures committee dr stace was the second of a series of speakers on the various isms the princeton professor was the guest of the blake society and a tea was held friday by the group in his honor the annual drive for funds for the harry m ullman student chemistry foundation will begin at the chemistry society meeting which will be held at 7:30 p m thursday in the chemistry build ing students from all chemistry clas ses may contribute whatever part of their remitted laboratory fees they wish according to harold v anderson associate professor of chemistry and permanent secre tary of the foundation fund totals 20,000 professor anderson stated that the trust fund now amounts to 20,000 and that a fellowship amounting to 600 has been given every two years since the estab lishment of the foundation in 1927 by the freshman class it is hoped that the drive this year will en able the foundation to acquire a williams the hughes-weiss musical comedy scheduled for presentation at the beethoven maennerchor on april 28 will rehearse for the first time on thursday at the maenner chor flood waters which rose to will lecture on medical education in vienna according to frank v hertzog arts 41 member of the society dr kramer has had long exper ience in the field of psycotherapy dr kramer is a native of vienna and received her medical doctor and doctor of philosophy degrees from the university of vienna she studied under sigmund freud and worked with alfred adler in the first child guidance clinic in vienna at the time of the anchluss in austria she was placed in a nazi concentration camp for four weeks at the end of that time she was given the choice of remaining in the camp or leaving the country dr
