delegates are expected the conference is not regularly held at the home of any one chapter but was brought to lehigh through the influence of a e buchanan as sistant alumni secretary who is president of the eastern divi sion of the fraternity the opening event of the pro gram is to be an informal smok er on thursday night march 1 2 and it is intended for the en tertainment of the early arriv als a business session will o.c cupy the next morning and the forepart of the afternoon and immediately following the after noon session the delegates are to be taken on a sight-seeing trip around the campus and even tually ending in a visit to the lafayette chapter on friday night an eastern division ball is to be held at the delt house in honor of the visiting dele gates saturday morning will be occupied by a final business meeting and at noon an alumni luncheon will be held lehigh's famous wrestling team is to be the entertaining feature of sat urday afternoon for the entire delegation will attend the le high-navy meet in a body the final event of the week-end will be a formal banquet at the ho tel bethlehem on saturday night and this event is always the high spot of the convention con on page 4 col 3 a number of the national of ficers of the delts are to be present and each chapter of the division sends at least two dele gates due to the proximity of the lafayette chapter they are to aid materially in caring for the annual appearance of the combined musical clubs fri day evening at bishopthorpe manor was a pronounced suc cess this concert marks the second appearance of this sea son and if the rendition of the program that was given to this enthusiastic audience is a crite rion of those to follow the pros pects for a most brilliant year are exceedingly good the program was divided in to two parts and consisted of selections from bullard an drews speaks and shubert by the glee club the mandolin club rendered la czarina by louis ganne the scarf dance by chaminade song of india by korsakow and the student prince by romberg the ha waiian string quartette more than lived up to their reputa tion of last year while the se lections sung by the male quar tette were very
