fellows let's toss up our hats and give three cheers here at last is a demonstration of good old le high spirit a lot of undergradu ates doing some real hard and tiresome work and for pure love i am speaking of those men who are now working night and day to get up a minstrel show for the benefit of the athletic association every one who saw the minstrel show last year said it was good the show this year will certainly be an improvement on that for the reason that the same men with one year's experience are at its head now fellows these men are working hard and they are going to give us a good show they won't get one red cent for their trouble and it is doubtful if they even get thanks that is the spirit we have been asking for let's show them that if we can't sing and crack jokes we can at least do some tall yelling let us all get down on the front rows and have a rousing cheer and then a few good okl-time songs on our own hook let's go there to have a good time and to make the thing a success we can do it and we will do it won't we fellows ? jackson tells me that they want more voices in the chorus so if you can sing a little bit you ought to make a point of showing up at the sigma phi house on thursday night or of seeing jackson as soon as possible this is just an elegant time to get off that fence let's get off on the right side the show is to be given on the night of election day and the returns will be read from the stage we will have a good time and the pleasure of doing our part in shoving a good thing along enthusiast ' saturday's football games the
