alum ni memorial building are now be ing occupied by the president vice president provost treasurer and assistant treasurer it was a big job on july 30 everyone in the south wing ex cept the provost was moved to temporary offices in the univer sity center three months later the job was completed all the walls in the old wing of the alumni building were torn out and the area was completely redesigned eight beautiful and functional offices have been created where only six existed before it was the first change in the offices in 38 years commenting on the temporary quarters dr charles a seidle vice-president for administration said we are grateful to the stu dents and to the personnel of the university center for their fore bearance and courtesy while we occupied temporary quarters in that building he said that although some of our new furniture will not be in stalled until the middle of novem ber we are now ready to receive visitors according to dr seidle the change was distributed to the upperclassmen are required at the luncheon after the luncheon parents and their sons may attend the lehigh-davidson football game in taylor stadium beginning at 1:30 p m tickets must be secured in taylor gymnasium before 5 p m friday saturday evening the department of music will present its annual parents concert featuring the lehigh glee club and band the concert begins at 8:15 in grace hall the university's permanent art collection in the university center and drown hall will be open to parents and their sons as will the exhibit on presi dential elections in the library and the alumni memorial building galleries on sunday morning parents and their sons are invited to attend the regular 11 a m chapel ser vice in the packer memorial church rev john mcgill krumm chaplain of columbia university will speak nearly 3,000 parents students and guests are expected to participate in the varied program pre pared for the three-day upperclassman parents weekend beginning next friday evening vance packard noted american author and critic will initiate the weekend activities with a speech invasion of privacy at 8:15 friday evening in packard auditorium no tickets are required for the residence halls council sponsored speaker earlier friday evening dr and mrs w deming lewis will give a dinner for the members of the university parents committee at the
