poetry is rare and moving g raymond hodil 63 inter fraternity council representative to arcadia was elected president of the interfraternity council last night on the second ballot anthony m carvette 63 was elected vice-president robert g coo 63 beta theta pi was elect ed treasurer and r dennis way son 63 ato w t as elected secre tary hodil sigma chi president won the election in a contest with michael h risen 63 pi lambda phi and carvette delta tau del ta delta on the second ballot carvette was elected vice-presi dent on the first ballot the other nominees for the office were risen and anthony m archesi 63 presi dent of chi phi by richard hupka a rather unusual gathering took place in the osbourne room friday night the occasion was os tensibly just an afternoon of poetry reading the type that the english department has been sponsor ing on friday afternoons for some time the result was one of those rare and moving experiences that will be cherished by the many who attended ' .
