accommodations on campus and will make selections stress ing foreign students as well as students from other universities and other areas of the country purpose of this program rhc president william f eberhart states is to introduce both a stabilizing force and a cosmopolitan atmos phere into the residence halls dean campbell has indiacted he will consult with dr wray h congdon dean of graduate school on the matter of incorporating rental costs into graduate fellowships residence halls council officers elections will be held thursday night in the university center eberhart also announced upperclass section presidents will elect the housing facilities chair man at 9:15 following the rhc meeting at 8:30 where the president vice-president and secretary will be elected by upperclass house and section presidents the treasurer will be elected by house and section treasurers house and section social chairmen will elect the social their rhc coun terpart at 10 at 10:15 house and section vice presidents will elect the discipline committee chairman residence halls members inter ested in any of these positions may contact their section presidents by brian skyrms saturday night i heard students to attend the flagpole gathering at 11:30 a.m band selections are scheduled to open the ceremony followed by an invocation by chaplain ray mond fuessle introductory re marks will be made by gen percy l sadler director of athletics associate dean preston parr will act as master of ceremonies for the remaining program twenty-five athletic awards are scheduled for presentation they are given for achieve ment in every sport from foot ball to golf to sailing the 1960 epitome will be dedi cated by editor m edward dehart 60 though the actual yearbook will not be available for distribution for two more weeks art awards will be presented to the three students who have shown artistic progress and meritorious ability in painting and modern art at lehigh presentation of the service awards including the dean's service award the apo service key and the arcadia service award will follow pi lambda phi will present an award for the first time tomorrow for achievement in
