contacting ends all frats quiet until rushing students faculty would decide young solons — arcadians discuss modification of the univer sity's guest speaker regulation at their regular meeting wednesday night in their two-hour meeting the solons also considered a parking code revision and revised constitution formal contacting ended yester day at 8 p.m the last fraternity man retired from the freshman residence halls leaving behind a relative quiet that will reign until the eight days of rushing immedi ately following spring vacation now both groups cluster in various nooks and crannies to discuss the relative merit of a certain frosh or a particular cool house propaganda from each house is being re examined and filing cards on each frosh under consideration are reviewed for last-impres sion comments freshmen must decide by mid night march 21 on the farterinties they desire to be rushed by on the first three days of rushing april 4th through 6th freshmen are reminded that they may become ineligible for rushing if no list is submitted with rush ing dates with a different house listed for each of the first three days if a date is broken during see rushing page 9 delightful taming ' produced by m&c arcadia wednesday night ap proved a proposal to change section 36.3 of the university's regulations reconsidered a parking code re vision and constitution originated by the 13th arcadia and considered several changes in student repre sentation to the student council in major business in a two hour meeting dom inated by committee reports the new group of solons sought to clear up several items of business left pending by the last council and moved into a number of new areas despite the variety of topics cov ered the meeting generated little excitement with only two votes out of the evening's fifteen ballots showin gsplit opinion in the group all other votes were unanimous the evening's only controversy centered about the possible changes in student representation on the council although no formal motion was presented several solons took the opportunity presented by the constitutional revision question to present off-the-cuff views on arca dia composition paul miller 60 kicked off the discussion by proposing a con solidation of the music and drama -
