men can obtain their weekend tickets from the student activities office and the department of speech a 6 ticket entitles the holder to the mustard and cheese play on either friday or saturday night the jazz concert and the monte carlo dance the jazz concert featuring jimmy j and the j's will be held at the frolics ballroom in allentown ifc will provide free bus transpor tation to and from the conference monday wlrn victim of snow hoax a statement over wlrn at 10:55 last night announcing the cancella tion of today's classes almost set the campus agog following a deluge of tele phone calls from students won dering about the meeting of friday classes including one which told of a report of their cancellation via a local radio station the announcers began calling university officials to verify the story mrs leith told the radio crew the dean of students was sleeping as sociate dean preston parr told wlrn the official announcement would have to come from the pro vost seconds later another call came in within another minute an ex cited announcer broke into a cham ber concert broadcast and gave the bulletin supposedly from provost harvey a neville however a call to dr neville showed that wlrn had been taken at intervals throughout the night correcting announcements were made to reach the campus resulted in the closhing of the library late in the afternoon quizes in c.e 611 scheduled for today were moved to monday and the class was cancelled saturday's quizes will be held as scheduled quite a few meetings were also cancelled among them were the american institute of industrial engineer's banquet the pi mv epsilon meeting the society of american military engineers banquet and the glee club rehearsal at noon the accountant's office and the supply bureau were closed to enable the employees to return to their homes before the snow got too deep the asa packer room was closed for dinner and the snack bar shut down at 10 p.m nine men from the dining service — among as a great pianist yes master pianist he starts where everyone else stops he also made general recital and orchestral appearances in the u.s and canada last season and gave a series of concerts in europe dur ing the past two months his childhood debut occurred at the age of ten in vienna the states were first exposed to his art when he was 16 following his early tours he travelled the
