ton will be featured for the hp dance the junior class predicts a record-breaking crowd of party goers predicted montville the committee montville pointed out hopes to correct past mistakes in procedure and foster an atmosphere for the maximum of hp enjoyment with compliance to the minimum rules of conduct as set down in the regulations judiciary committee members are from ifc larry trerotols william ross edward dehart and montville from rhc richard topping george russell jack branning and from tc allen schneck deputies have not yet been picked a dry dixie concert in grace hall will be one of the features of this year's ifc weekend the con cert which will be held on saturday afternoon march 22 will feature lehigh's own christmas city six on saturday evening weekend goers will dance to the music of versatile claude thornhill patti ryan thornhill's thrush will add a touch of brightness to the bandstand another weekend feature will be the mustard and cheese player's presentation of teahouse of the august moon the recent broadway hit will be shown thursday friday and saturday nights in broughal auditorium ifc ticket sellers report a lack of response on the part of freshmen to buying tickets in previous years fraternity ranks were swelled with over 300 freshmen eager to partici pate in their first big fraternity weekend due to the delayed rushing system this year freshmen are not allowed to enter houses for the saturday night parties two major changes in houseparty rules will be in effect this spring announced joe montville newly elected judiciary committee chair man men will be allowed to change clothes in approved ground floor or basement rooms in the female-occupied dormi tories and no time limits will be set on picnics or meals a time limit will however be en forced on drinking saturday tap ping will be allowed between 1 and 5 p.m only montville said that the committee expects the job of covering the parties will be a greater one in vol ume this spring since duke elling snack happy campus students and lunch hungry town students will benefit from the extended serv ice added this week to the univer sity center's eating services snack bar facilities used for the first time last week are now open until midnight the change in time is an extension of eight hours per day for the pennsyl vania dutch dining room man ager wilber blew also expects the room to be open on sundays in the future town students who recently waged a campaign to have a regular lunch area are now able to eat their mid-day meal in the student contract dining area of the center five-day lunch tickets are being sold at the bursar's office com muters will pay 90 cents per meal or 4.50 per week for their ticket they will not however be able to see meal page 6 by roger zerweck gerry leeman's varsity wrestlers completed their first undefeated sea son in 15 years saturday night as they overwhelmed a weak hofstra team 27-3 the last undefeated season occurred in 1943 when billy sheridan's grapplers went through the season unbeaten and untied in eight games oddly enough the 1943 wrestlers placed only fourth in the easterns be hind victorious navy this year's team won nine and tied one in their 10 outings pitts burgh having a poor season for them tied the engineers 14-14 two weeks ago other than the pitt tie leeman's men breezed through the season easily winning all their matches except the one with navy when they were extended to a 14-11 count immediately after the mid semester examinations minus ed hamer who went on pro yale became the fifth straight victim and then navy and army fell the next two weekends after the pitt tie the engineers de feated rutgers and wound up the season last night routing hofstra captain joe gratto culminated his varsity career brilliantly saturday as he pinned jim heller in four minutes with a cradle gratto thus finished his three-year dual-meet record with only one defeat and a tie marring an otherwise perfect slate joe undoubtedly will be an odds on choice to take the 137-pound title in the easterns next weekend pete davidson also finished his dual-meet career saturday night as he easily decisioned jim hipper 5 0 the senior from princeton n j completed the season with an 8-2 record davidson came down to the 177-pound class and experienced no trouble with hipper the hofstra sophomore in fact was soundly booed by the 2,800 grace hall fans see gratto page 8 steckbeck to sing solos at lu -
