injured students and the driver of the second car who re ceived an abrasion of the nose were treated at st luke's hospital police estimated damage at 400 to thun berg's car and 200 to the youth's beginning at 8 p.m mod bomber clears education building a mad bomber prankster who threatened to blow up the education building last evening is being sought today by bethlehem police dr george c ackerlund associate professor of education re ceived a phone call at 8:15 p.m yesterday from a person who said i'm the mad bomber and i'm going to blow up that little white building at 8:45 both bethlehem and campus police were immediately called to the small white structure behind packer hall as soon as they arrived the building was vacated by the two classes which were in progress at the time police then began a thorough search of the building no bomb was discovered at 8:55 10 minutes after the explosive was supposed to go off classes were resumed dr ackerlund said the voice sounded like that of an old man whose age he estimated at be tween 60 and 65 the university operator who took the phone call told the brown and white that the person was probably someone who is familiar with the campus he didn't ask for the educa tion department but for extension 386 extension phone numbers are not listed in the city directory dr ackerlund confirmed the op erator's supposition he pointed out that during the brief conversation the man referred to the education building as the one right in back of packer hall his wife's desire to do some study ing in the library was the only rea son dr
