directions regarding payment of tuition for the fall semester will be ready by june 1 tuition for the fall will not have to be paid in june al though students may be able to do so if they so desire on sept 20 21 or 22 students will be required to fill out information regarding residences etc in the foy er of the alumni bulding at their convenience during the three days since this is part of the registration those students not completing it on these three days will be subject to the late registration fees the following schedule has been established for registration it would be helpful if students wagner said in so far as possible adhere to the following schedule june 1 through 10 registration materials will be available in packard lab room 400 on the above days from 8 a.m to 5 p.m voters favored the referen dum and voted yes and 20.1 per cent voted no with 9.4 per cent abstain ing only 50.9 per cent of the student body voted during the four day elec tion period b&w vacation dormitory fund-raising campaign have been pledged by six fraterni ties and two activity groups pi lambda phi phi sigma kappa chi psi phi delta theta and sigma alpha mv among the fraternities and wlrn and the brown and white among the activities have each voted at least one share toward a local bethlehem goal of 425,000 and the national aim of 2,200,000 mahlon b simon jr 57 chair man of the student fund-raising ac tivity organized by the brown and white found the response very encouraging and praised those giv ing for their forward-looking atti tude simon leader of newly-formed team number 146 of the bethlehem area said he was pleased yet re served about the present amount turned in with the campus goal of 50 shares in mind the editor-in-chief of the brown and white continued when the campaign started early this week we were doubt ful but these apprehensions have proved to be unfounded we're working on a project that should make every student giver glow with pride we're asking only 180 from each group — a sum that can be paid over a three-year period in a 80 man living group which is about average it works out to five cents per week per man this isn't too much to ask as eight groups have already realized other groups have the plan un der consideration — many others the sophomore cabinet epitome arcadia and many fraternities are now seriously considering the idea and i
