gifts increase by 200,000 contrary to the trend in most col leges and universities lehigh's fi nancial picture for 1952-53 showed a considerable increase in gifts and bequests over 1951-52 total gifts and bequests from all sources for 1952-53 were 667,500 compared with 439,905 for the same period in 1951-52 findings of a study conducted by john price jones co inc consultants and managers for institutional financing reveal that the 50 institutions they studied received gifts in 1952-53 totaling 8.2 per cent less than the previous year the new york times published these fig ures last monday bequests to the university totaled 125,610 in 1952-53 a considerable increase over 1951-52 when only 55,813 was bequeathed to lehigh the alumni fund also showed con siderable increase totaling 202,668
