men initiated by pi tau sigma larkin talks on history of society on campus everything is in readiness for lehigh to be host to the largest number of contestants in the his tory of the national intercollegiate wrestling championships paul e short assistant director of intercol legiate athletics said in an inter view wednesday invitations were sent to 413 colleges and universities in 26 states to enter wrestling teams in the 14th annual tournament to be held march 20-22 in taylor gym in 1935 when the championships were last held here 142 wrestlers from 32 schools competed reserved seat tickets for all four sessions will be 3.00 general ad mission for the first two sessions on friday afternoon and evening will be 75 cents for each session general admissions for the semi finals on saturday afternoon will be 1.00 general admission for the finals to be held on saturday evening will be 1.00 to begin march 20 the tournament will open on thursday morning march 20 with a rules interpretation clinic for coaches officials and wrestlers this will be open to students and the public without charge a dinner honoring billy sheri dan will be held at the hotel bethlehem thursday evening march 20 and a special wrestling issue of the lehigh bachelor will be published for the occasion assisting short with the ar rangements for the tournament are glen w harmeson director of moravec director of sports pub licity the interdormitory council brought uniform dormitory sec tion organization one step closer tuesday night by approving the newly drawn interdormitory con stitution if the measure is approved by dean wray h congdon it will be submitted to each of the 20 dormi tory living groups for ratification the constitution must be ratified by a majority vote in three-quar ters of all the sections before it is declared in force for all dormitor ies acceptance of the final draft of the constitution ended a long ser ies of writings and revisions which started near the beginning of last semester purpose of the constitu tion is to provide uniform rules regulations and organization for every dormitory unit many of which have no written rules or or ganization plans at all the measure was drawn up by a committee composed of donald a bender ch e 41 chairman charles b seib jr arts 41 and howard o schroeder m e 42 council met with dean the council met with dean congdon on tuesday night and various sections of the constitution were discussed with him the ar ticle establishing a student disci plinary committee which held up approval of the entire measure for several finances freshman duties and dis cipline the council voted to buy plaques similar to the plaques awarded section championship football and basketball teams to be awarded the winning teams of the wrestling tournament and bowling league discuss student activities budget the student activities commit tee appointed a sub-committee wednesday afternoon to study the problem of allocating money to student organizations from the ac tivities fee this action followed a discussion with representatives from arcadia and the internation al relations club concerning the granting of student money to the professor of eco nomics spoke on the american marketing association each of the initiates gave a short speech after the banquet on march 18th the fraternity will take a trip to the provident mutual life insurance company in philadelphia financial reports of 74 student organizations were checked by the committee of student club fin ances yesterday at the first meet ing of the committee this year included in the organizations whose first semester reports the committee examined were 20 dor mitory groups three student coun cils 12 course societies 13 honor aries and other miscellaneous groups the 74 organizations handle ap proximately 25,000 each year these funds are obtained from such incomes as fees a financial budget from the treasurer of each organization is required each fall by the
