lightly their line is nearly as heavy as that of the brown and white team and averages approximately 185 pounds while the backfield tilts the beam at 165 pounds defense against pass stressed the brown and white team has been busy this past week in perfect ing a forward pass defense which was so lacking in the game with princeton last saturday last wed nesday the varsity scrimmaged against the yearlings who used a forward pass offense and in spite of the intensive training which austy has given his ' charges to break up this sort of an attack the frosh were able to score a touch down on the first string men how ever it is unlikely that any team will be able to attempt another aer ial attack similar to that of the tig ers with so much success the varsity has been put through an extensive training program and is in excellent condition for the coming clash cowboy elliott will again be in uniform and will lead the brown and white team as quarterback the backfield has been changed lightly their line is nearly as heavy as that of the brown and white team and averages approximately 185 pounds while the backfield tilts the beam at 165 pounds defense against pass stressed the brown and white team has been busy this past week in perfect ing a forward pass defense which was so lacking in the game with princeton last saturday last wed nesday the varsity scrimmaged against the yearlings who used a forward pass offense and in spite of the intensive training which austy has given his ' charges to break up this sort of an attack the frosh were able to score a touch down on the first string men how ever it is unlikely that any team will be able to attempt another aer ial attack similar to that of the tig ers with so much success the varsity has been put through an extensive training program and is in excellent condition for the coming clash cowboy elliott will again be in uniform and will lead the brown and white team as quarterback the backfield has been changed
