1909 epitome work on the 1909 epitome is well advanced and the board expects from present indications to issue a satisfactory book several new fea tures will likely be added to the vol ume a meeting of the board of editors has been called for sunday at 1 o'clock in christmas hall when several important matters will be dis cussed the offering of prizes will be made at this time hustling committee at a meeting of the hustling com mittee held wednesday noon in christmas hall w e mccann os was elected chairman each mem ber of the committee will be given a list of names and it will be his duty to do his best to get these men out every effort will be made to furnish coach dickson with all the available material in college c e society the first meeting of the civil en gineering society will be held in sau eon hall on wednesday evening oc tober 2 dr drinker and prof mckibben will make short addresses of welcome the modern munici pality and the civil engineer will be the subject of a talk by prof stewart every o e in the three upper classes is strongly urged to attend this meeting as well as the success ive ones gatherings of this sort at lehigh take the place of debating societies at other colleges affording the student an opportunity to gain practice in public speaking this society is the oldest organiza tion of the sort at lehigh the offi cers for the present year are as fol
