This collection contains sundry sermons, liturgies, poems, hymns/verses, and miscellaneous material, including an excerpt from the Augsburg Confession, English tracts and memorabilia of Basseterre, St.Kitts. The material does not appear to be specific to the Henry family or to Mary Henry Stites, rather the collection is named after her as the donating party.

Mary Henry Stites was born in Harrisburg, Pa on November 20, 1907 to parents Thomas Henry Atherton Stites and Mary Adeline Henry Stites. Mary attended college in Louisiana and graduated from Simmons College in Boston. Afterwards she taught at the Boulton School not far from the Henry Homestead in Bushkill Township until retiring in 1949. She served as the Secretary of the Moravian Historical Society between 1966 and 1983, was a member of the Nazereth Moravian Church and a charter member of the Jacobson Historical Society, which was founded in 1972. The Jacobson Historical Society bestowed the title of Directress Emerita upon Mary in 1981. She was also a former member of the Daughters of the Revolution and the Colonial Dames. She died on May 6, 1989 in Nazereth, Pa. Mary was the last living descendent of the Henry family and left her estate to the Jacobson Historical Society upon her death at the age of 81.
