unbeaten season lehigh had had an unblem ished record since their 22-6 discomfiture at state last year the nittany lions without cap tain don maurey who couldn't make the team at either 137 or 147 pounds had winners in bob homan dick lemyre don frey joe lemyre hudson sampson and lynn illingworth lehigh gots its point on a 5-4 decision by ed mahoney in the 157-pound bout against doug frey and don faust's 2-2 draw with lawrence fernicola at 137 lbs george feuerbach lehigh's two-year eastern champion suffered his second loss in four years of dual meet com petition when he lost to don frey at 147 pounds frey took feuerbach down in the first period and held the ad vantage until george escaped in the second period frey escaped in the third period but was taken down to tie the score at 3-3 feuer bach stayed on top until the bout's end but frey had one min ute of time advantage and won 4-3 faust and fernicola both fresh men in their first varsity roles on the crowd's praise fernicola
