entry fee photos will be returned if postage accompanies entries mrs charles m schwab succumbs to illness early yesterday morning mrs charles m schwab wife of the only charter member of lehigh's board of trustees died at her home just off riverside drive new york city mrs schwab had been ill for a long time and her death came after nearly a month of ill ness which came as a result of a heart attack suffered on christmas day among her charitable work was the building of a home on staten island for foundling children a memorial church in her birth place west perm a church at braddock in memory of the pastor who married mr and mrs schwab a church at braddock in memory of her mother and a carmelite convent at loretto mrs schwab came from a family that was well known in the steel world her father reuben din key was the first steel works chemist in the united states and her brother alva c dinkey was president of the carnegie steel company and later president of midvale steel and ordnance com the age of 14 when he directed sophie tucker's kings of syncopation for two years following his tour with the tuck er band he played in a vaudeville act which had engagements in many parts of the
