submitted a report containing a survey of the names arcadia and le high union it was voted to publish this report in full in the brown and white prior to the election arcadia also amended the changes byron kelley arts 38 was the student director of the play and albert rights instructor of eng lish was in charge of the entire production the play was given as part of the course in english 62 with the help of other english majors kelly as the doctor quentin g r keith arts 40 in the part of prince golaud john b sabol arts 39 as pelleas and hildette grossman in the part of yniold all had important roles miss jacobs a veteran miss jacobs a graduate of well esley college assumed the title role after only one week of re hearsal her ability to master lines in such a short time has come as the result of four years of college experience and three years of barnstorming the dramatic circles lehigh has never before exper ienced a play of this type all the scenes are projected on a white background from a model by means of a slide projector this method seemed to be the only pos sible one to recreate so many scenes in the rapidity desired un less motion pictures were used the dramatic
