lehem and a medical practitioner in south bethlehem died at the wernersville sanitorium on wed nesday he was a student at lehigh uni versity until his junior year when he entered the medical school at the university of pennsylvania where he graduated in the class of 1 1887 with the degree of doctor of r medicine this year the registrars office has announced a program of 191 examinations to start on thursday jan 20 and continue until sat urday jan 29 two examinations will be given daily at 8 a m and 2 p m there are four conflict examinations on the schedule making it necessary to give special packard 466 union consent necessary for consolidation of governing groups faculty to vote later committee's report calls for selection of name by student body the proposed merger of the stu dent government bodies arcadia and the lehigh union was ap proved by arcadia at a meeting monday night in drown hall the vote was 27-8 the plan will now go to the lehigh union for action if ap proved by that body it will go to the faculty for final approval it is scheduled to go into effect on may 1 the proposal in the form of amendments to the lehigh union constitution was passed as report ed by the constitution committee of arcadia the committee in de cember had made two changes in the original report one permitting the student body to select the name of the new organization by popular vote and the other sub stituting a faculty-student com mittee for the nomination of the union president in place of omi cron delta kappa senior honorary fraternity amendment defeated an amendment to add the ed itors of the lehigh review and epitome to the cabinet of the new organization was offered by paul e white editor in chief of the review it was defeated by a 17 19 vote the constitution committee con
