public attendance at fu ture series programs under the new policy general admission tickets will go on sale at 7:30 o'clock the evening of the performance when the doors open season ticket holders and those who purchase tickets at the door will be given equal opportunity to find seats in the auditorium until 8:15 o'clock no one will be admitted after the program begins at 8:15 student interest inspection of the city's major chemical plants yesterday morning they visited the plant of the sharp and dohme company manufacturing chemists they lunched at hotel lorraine and in the afternoon association the ceremonies were arranged by tom conley 24 who greeted the gathering said to be the larg est ever to attend the dinner as sisting conley in the arrange ments were pi shipherd 21 president of the club and morris bernstein 96 secretary industries in philadelphia will be inspected fifty-six senior chemists and chemical engineers went to phil adelphia yesterday for the yearly industrial inspection trip which will last until wednesday the group will make its headquarters in the benjamin franklin hotel and will travel in the city in char tered buses the trip includes the inspection of the city's major chemical plants yesterday morning they visited the plant of the sharp and dohme company manufacturing chemists they lunched at hotel lorraine and in the afternoon inspected the atlantic refining company this morning they visited the franklin sugar refining company after lunch at bookbinder's res taurant they inspected the gras selli chemical company manufac turers of heavy chemicals and acids tomorrow morning the group will travel to the j t lewis and brothers plant manufacturers of pigments and paints three members of the chemis try department faculty are with the seniors they are alpha a diefenderfer professor of assay ing and quantitative analysis charles w simmons associate professor of chemical engineering and harry b osborn instructor in concert of the pro-cathedral church of the nativity male choir on sunday afternoon at the church the all-bach program was the fifth program presented by the choir of 70 men and boys the choir featured a rendition of an eight part motet entitled sing ye to the lord the concert represented the thirty-fifth anniversary of dr shield's directorship at the nativ ity church take goal post but le high the possibility of decorating all fraternity houses during the christmas holidays announced joseph a hopkins jr bus 38 president of the council melhado reported that the townspeople were very favorably impressed by the decorations which were used during home coming and suggested that the fraternities might be willing to cooperate with the city in dec orating bethlehem for the holiday season hopkins reported that he favors the plan which could be inex pensively carried out in accord ance with the general plans of the city it was tentatively sug gested that decorations in the form of lights and similar displays could be employed from early in dec ember until the beginning of vac ation the interfraternity council will discuss the suggestion at its next meeting will give paper on
