rice wal ter severance and charles wil liamson represented lafayette col lege union merger opponents to present objections on proposed plan will consider changes an open meeting of the arcadia committee on the merger of the arcadia and lehigh union stud ent governing bodies will be held at 4 p m wednesday dec 1 in the office of dean c m mcconn j palmer murphy arts 38 chair man announced today the committee will hear all op ponents of the plan and will re ceive and consider proposals for changing the plan any member of arcadia will be premitted to appear and present his views no new they will be welcomed by the fraternity houses on and off the campus with various decora tions floats and exhibits depicting for the most part the fall of laf ayette and the victory of lehigh the alumni will start their day by visiting saturday morning classes which will give them a chance to talk over old times with their former professors buffet lunches will be served at the fraternity who was the head of the chemical engi neering department at lehigh for about 25 years fraternity exhibits floats urge gridiron victory over leopard team band to play new march chem annex cornerstone unveiling will be held after football game approximately 3,000 reserva tions have been made by lehigh alumni for the homecoming day grid classic between lehigh and the leopards of lafayette sat urday they will be welcomed by the fraternity houses on and off the campus with various decora tions floats and exhibits depicting for the most part the fall of laf ayette and the victory of lehigh the alumni will start their day by visiting saturday morning classes which will give them a chance to talk over old times with their former professors buffet lunches will be served at the fraternity houses and in drown hall for the returning grads band to play new march as trfey take their seats in tay lor stadium for the game the band will welcome them with a brand new march written by james mack arts 38 titled march lehigh university band after the game they will attend the unveiling ceremonies of the cornerstone of the harry m ull man wing president c c wil liams s j cort president of the alumni association and dr h m ullman director of the curric ula in chemistry and chemical en gineering will speak at 4:30 o'clock friday after noon the decorations in front of the fraternity houses which have been made at a cost of 10 each will be judged by a committee consisting of prof albert haring associate professor of economics g a howland head of the depart ment of fine arts john maxwell manager of the supply bureau and h r bosey reiter professor of physical education will present cup a large cup will be awarded to the fraternity with the best decoration and the fraternity's name will be inscribed on it they will be allowed to keep it for a year a smaller cup will also be given them as a permanent possession the large cup must be won three years in a row to be kept permanently the class of 91 will be the honor class celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its entrance into lehigh university they will be the guests of honor at the buffet supper which will include a musi cal program and a talk by pres ident c c williams at drown hall also a buffet supper will be held in the armory for 1 per plate directors to meet at 10 a m the board of dir ectors of the alumni
