cameron originally studied for the ministry but abandoned these pursuits in favor of a carer in in dustry he served as editor of the detroit news and in 1919 joined the staff of henry ford's dear born the victory dinner to help clement c williams president of the uni versity eugene grace president of the board of trustees and glen harmeson coach of the football team eulogize the entire squad for their fine showing this season gives gold footballs thirty-one gold footballs were presented by col nelson kellogg director of athletics to members of the football team and to the coaches connected with the team four sophomores ten juniors and twelve seniors including the manager were the recipients of the awards coach harmeson marty westerman and red sleight assistant coaches billie sheridan trainer and colonel kel logg also received the symbols of victory over lafayette paul ganey 16 president of the bethlehem home club was the spokesman for the evening and in troduced president williams as the first speaker the president express ed the sentiment of the evening by lauding both the coaches and the team harmeson lauds policy glen harmeson declared that le high's renewed policy of fraser assistant pro fessor of geology spoke to a group of students wednesday in ruther ford high school rutherford n.j on a billion years of earth de velopment in this talk professor fraser traced the development of the earth from before the existence of life to the present time geology while usually thought of as the study of fossils may be di vided into two classes hard rock and soft rock geology the study of fossils is included in the latter class while hard rock geology the lesser known of the two is the study of earth development through the structure and microscopic formation of rock a course in geo-chemistry will be given next semester in connection with this work its purpose will be to show the application of chemis try to geological processes an appeal to the vacationing stu dents to talk to prospective fresh men is made by dr congdon di rector of admissions dr congdon states holiday fes tivities and social contacts are bound to bring to the notice of lehigh students fraser assistant pro fessor of geology spoke to a group of students wednesday in ruther ford high school rutherford n.j on a billion years of earth de velopment in this talk professor fraser traced the development of the earth from before the existence of life to the present time geology while usually thought of as the study of fossils may be di vided into two classes hard rock and soft rock geology the study of fossils is included in the latter class while hard rock geology the lesser known of the two is the study of earth development through the structure and microscopic formation of rock a course in geo-chemistry will be given next semester in connection with this work its purpose will be to show the application of chemis try to geological processes an appeal to the vacationing stu dents to talk to prospective fresh men is made by dr congdon di rector of admissions dr congdon states holiday fes tivities and social contacts are bound to bring to the notice of lehigh students at home on vacation a num ber of good freshman prospects for the coming college year the university hopes that every student will bear in mind during his holidays that we need all the super ior
