tracks on route 28 between clinton and lebanon there was every indication that he had been the victim of a hit and run driver trooper walter schindlin who investigated found pieces of a brok en windshield and on one of the pieces which had fallen beneath the bridge was the inspection sticker tracing the car through the stick er trooper schindlin located the garage from which it was issued and discovered that eight cars had been inspected at that garage on the date the sticker was issued as kreller was the only one of the eight owners who had not been at home on the day of the accident
