hall in his interpretation sutton vane the author has thrown char acters from all paths of life onto a small ocean liner bound for an un known destination throughout the play he has maintained a quality of vagueness and mystery about the whole trip malcolm h baxter plays the part of tom pryor the habitual drunk around whom the action of the play centers this character was portrayed by leslie howard in the moving picture outward bound howard was also in the original stage production playing the part of henry henry in the present cast is played by george grogan he is one of the lovers around whom the story centers ann mrs josephine meixell is the other lover how ever henry is bound by a previous matrimonial tie the world is left behind as love seizes these two un fortunates mrs etter is society matron society is well represented by mrs cliveden-banks the snobbish matron played by mrs marion et ter mrs cliveden-banks considers it an extreme misfortune that she should have to generation and cement manufacture about 75 members of the society were pres ent alexander luce associate pro fessor of machine design was in charge of the arrangements for the meeting which was engineer of babcock and wilcox company ad dressed a meeting of the anthracite lehigh valley section of the amer icon society of mechanical engin eers in packard laboratory last night mr hardgrove spoke on pul verizing for steam generation and cement manufacture about 75 members of the society were pres ent alexander luce associate pro fessor of machine design was in charge of the arrangements for the meeting which was preceeded by a dinner in sun inn the lecture was illustrated with slides showing various pulverizing plants and with graphs which gave the figures for pulverization mr
