By DALISBETH GALVEZ The Fud Truk mobile food service is staying open later and parking outside the majority of campus events this year. “Lehigh University’s Fud Truk was born out of a need for mobility in Dining Services for concessions on our Goodman Campus,” said Karrie Dieser, marketing manager of Lehigh’s Dining Services. “A food truck seemed to be the best option for the amount of business that we do at the Goodman Campus.” The Fud Truk has made several changes this year to become more accessible to students. This year the Fud Truk is open later and in different locations across the campus and community and is at almost every campus event. It can be found at charity and community events, such as Spring Fling, supporting cancer charities, such as Colleges Against Cancer and Race for the Cure, and local events like Bethlehem’s VegFest. “We feel that these kinds of events help support our initiative to support our community in many different ways, as well as helping our business to be recognized for not only our delicious offerings but also for our positive business practices, “ Dieser said. Another change the Fud Truk made Attention readers of The Brown and White The 10/30 issue of The Brown and White was not delievered due to the inclement weather conditions imposed by Hurricane Sandy.
