squad of 26 closes fall session wildman de clares prospects good fall practice for the lehigh la crosse club ended last friday for two weeks 26 men many of them freshmen practiced fundamentals of the game on the tennis courts be low the physics building eugene wildman president of the club says the prospects for a successful season next spring are good the new candidates are promising and especially outstand ing is eric reed a transfer from navy and william bailey a trans fer from johns hopkins plans are being formulated for the coming season to date games with princeton perm state stev ens and monclair a c have been arranged and maurice faulkner secretary and manager of the club is trying to arrange satisfactory dates with swarthmore and sev eral other colleges the club lost very few men by graduation last june so the team should not suffer lack of material says wildman the men who play ed last year and who are still in college are wildman hill jacobi charlton purdy short groff prall gates wait hickok hutton dor nin smith gruen gummere and root colonel kellogg decided recently that members of the lacrosse team will receive minor l's last year the members of the team received lacrosse charms donated by arcadia as awards wildman has been writing to alumni interested in lacrosse ask ing them for financial aid since the university has dropped lacrosse as a varsity sport the team depends on membership dues guarantees from other schools and donations from arcadia to finance the run ning of the team junior rifle team defeats freshmen 1,394 to 1,226 the junior rifle team defeated the freshman team last friday by a score of 1,394 to 1,226 the high scorer for the winenrs was p l hooper with a total of 374 points out of a possible 400 the high scorer for the
