their presidents wil liam h sachs president of arca dia stated wednesday the mcii elected are h j o'brien jr bus 34 group 1 ; r london of group 6 and h a andrews i e 33 of group 13 each of the 14 groups consist of 30 men living in the same neighborhood each president will represent his group in arcadia the groups that have not already elected their presidents are psedided over by temporary chairmen the new 1932-33 arcadia will meet monday night at 8 o'clock in drown hall to elect a president secretary and treasurer at this time a com mittee consisting of two fraternity representatives one representative of the living groups and a dormi tory representative will be appoint ed by the new president of arcadia to propose members of the arca dia committees the men who should be present at the meeting are all heads of living groups four teen presidents of town groups the four class presidents the editors in chief of all publications the pres idents of the mustard and cheese and the combined musical clubs and a representative of the l club police seize student cars 25 automobiles are clas sified as relics and un fit to operate adventures in a bathysphere will be recounted tonight strange fish as thin as paper as transparent as glass and as many colored as the rainbow will be flashed on the screen during wil liam beebe's lecture two miles down which he will deliver at 8 o'clock tonight in packard auditor ium dr beebe will recount the mys teries of the unknown world which he penetrated sealed in a steel ball or bathysphere in connection with his lecture he will show a series of animated cartoons which are auth entic reproductions of his discov eries two miles down the 800 tickets for the beebe lec ture were all given out by monday april 18 three days after they were released for distribution after 7:30 p m any remaining seats will be opened to the public according to dr max peterson secretary of sig ma xi honorary research frater nity which is sponsoring the lec ture writes for layman dr beebe through his writings has brought to the layman a series of pictures of birds insects and an imals of tropical lands from the jungle he turned to the mysteries of the dorm dance saturday night the dormitory dance will be held saturday night at the masonic tem ple this non-fraternity dance will last from nine to twelve and the music will be by jay knell from pottsville the chaperons of the dance will be prof and mrs david scott and prof and mrs harry payrow the lehigh union is co operating with the dormitory in this dance in the evening 1 , 31 fraternities are having dances some fraternities are combining their dances but most of them will be independent and closed board of publications turns back handbook to original editors the freshman handbook is again under the control of the lehigh union according to e r wisner co-editor of the handbook two years ago the handbook was turn ed over to the board of publications the lack of advertisements the handbook's only source of income might have caused its operation under a loss and the board of pub lications was unable to assist at a meeting of the lehigh un ion last monday night it was de cided that the union would again undertake that editing managing and distributing of the handbook a comm.ttee was chosen to inves tigate competition and minor de tails the board of sterrett was bornin mid dleport n v jan 21 1885 in 1902-1903 he was a student at ho bart college in 1904-1905 he attend ed the law school of the univer sity of buffalo and in 1908 he re ceived the degree of a b from the university of pennsylvania in 1911 he received the degree of b d and in 1924 the degree of d d from the philadelphia divinity school in 1924 hobart college gave him an honorary ll d elected dean in 1912 in 1911 bishop sterrett was elect ed a deacon and in 1912 a priest in the episcopal church in 1911-1912 dr sterrett was vicar of the grace chapel at st stephen's parish
