the police department several other bands and the naval reserve in addition to the street parade there will be a dinner given by the first defender's organization of bethlehem in hotel bethlehem in the evening after the parade in the aftrnoon a band concert and fireworks exhibition will take place in liberty high school sta dium rep francis walters will speak starting at taylor and fourth sts at 2:15 p.m the parade will cross the river at the hill to-hill bridge on which it will pass in review after crossing the river the route will follow main st to broad alno elected were vice president new york lehigh club scheduled for may 22 in drown hall finals will be held at 8:15 p.m saturday may 27 in grace hall scheduled to sing in the pre liminaries at which time three finalists will be picked are beta theta pi delta tau delta phi delta theta phi gamma delta sigma chi richards one and theta delta chi txie winning group will re ceive a trophy contestants will be judged on enunciation blend pitch rhythm and spirit a pop concert will be pre sented in conjunction with the finals in grace hall with the le high band and the cliff-clefs and hungry five participating brown and white the problem of uncollected telephone bills in the dormitories most dorm sections are expected to disconnect their phones sunday june 3 the cut-off date was agreed upon by idc members at their tuesday night meeting the new action is in accordance with a plan proposed by retiring idc treasurer william c murphy bus j'so from taylor hall price hall has made arrangements already for disconnecting its phone all other dorm sections probably will d'sconnect june 3 pay phones are not affected by the idc decision in effect since yesterday the plan asks all dorm men making toll caßs to determine toll charges at once and pay section treasurers rather than merely sign up and wait for the monthly bill all bills for the may 11 - june 3 peirod will be sent by the phone company direct to murphy who will pay them from collec tions turned in by each section to make it easier to determine toll charges it is suggested that phone users tell the operator be fore making the call that they wish to know the charges opera tors can then report charges as soon as the calls are completed three controversial viewpoints will be defended by three lehigh students monday at the university meeting opening in grace hall at 7:30 p.m after harry winner's talk on collegiate athletics questions from the audience falling into one of three viewpoints will be answered by the student according to their chosen position
