men and one nonstudent allegedly harassed three women students on dec 12 behind dravo house will be submitted to the case officer of the university committee on discipline according to sharon drager assistant dean of students the women students were returning from a fraternity party when the men allegedly exposed themselves and pushed one of the women down k drager said it may take awhile before c case goes to the discipline committee because the report is not completed the nonstudent has also not been identified she said the women have not pressed charges drager said adding the university is probably going to press drager said she could not comment on the incidents that occurred at a fraternity ' last october involving the harassment and possible sexual abuse of two lehigh women because of unusual changes of events which she described as unex pected and weird she refused to elaborate on these events on nov 1 a woman reported that she had been sexually abused the previous evening by four men from the fraternity m question another woman later reported that she had been harassed at the same fraternity on oct 4 drager said it is not certain whether these incidents will go to the discipline committee the women have not pressed charges she said she added the investigation is moving very quickly and that the oct 4 incident will be resolved soon she also said the identity of the fraternity cannot be released unless the fraternity is found to be at fault administration still delaying on tenure by bill kimball the university administration has still not taken action on a forum report suggesting student input on tenure decisions which was submitted nearly a year ago to dr albert zettlemoyer vice president and provost problems with tenure are being ignored said sutton monro chairman of the forum tenure sub-committee of the academic environment committee i think that if student input can be achieved it is one input we should have zettlemoyer said the report did not suggest specific guidelines on how to achieve student input into tenure he said jimmy breslin pollution problem abated bypaulfenaroli the sooty emissions from the university power plant which plagued local residents have for the present time disappeared we're pretty confident that the problem is by and large solved said eric ottervik vice president for planning last week the university was faced with possible prosecution for failing to meet a 30 day deadline set by the pennsylvania der william nuever air pollution control engineer for der examined the plant friday and monday and found no signs of soot nuever said with the snow it's a good time to check but the snow didn't show any soot if we find a violation we will call the university officials into the office either here or m the regional office m reading and discuss the quickest way to abate the problem whether it's putting control equipment m or whatever it is highly unlikely that a suit would arise if the soot emissions return he said the main factor m correcting the problem may be the recent cold spell the boilers were forced to work at full capacity allowing a chance to tune the boilers and reset the controls properly minor equipment changes may be made m the near future a new piece of equipment is available to monitor the mixture between the two different grades of oil being used the inconsistent mixture of these two oils due to the shortage of gas and number two oil was causing inefficient burning and soot the problem of soot emission appears to have been arrested the university is still not certain 1970s showed the country was alive he said but all the disorder culminated on the night of aug 9 1974 when richard nixon went on television to announce he was leaving office because he lied said breslin breslin said he was with the 450 people who stood quietly outside the white house that night it was as if after all the disorders of the 60s the american people just shucked off the trembling and rage and placidly watched the government change hands there were no tanks or soldiers or shots fired the political system is filled with the lazy mediocre and fraudulent but nothing is going to happen except through the system he said breslin urged young people to get in volved m local political campaigns m order to get to know the place and get to know the game he got to know the game when he and norman mailer campaigned for president of the city council and mayor of new york city respectively m 1969 breslin said the idea for the campaign was con ceived one evening after he and mailer
