lehigh by kristen kuck brown and white news editor this building will have a significant impact on the education of lehigh students for decades to come said philip rauch the major benefactor of rauch business center at the building's official dedication yesterday rauch 33 reminisced about his college days of football wrestling and partying at lehigh during the depression in front of the crowd of about 100 donors special guests faculty students and staff gathered in rauch's south courtyard during the ceremony the building's official dedication plaque bearing rauch's name and short biography was unveiled after the ceremony a time capsule was buried near the business center to mark the dedication for generations to follow other speakers at the ceremony included lehigh president peter likins william hittinger chairman of lehigh board of trustees william clayton trustee and chairman of the rauch business center fund-raising campaign committee and richard barsness dean of the college of business and economics by erin byron brown and white news writer i hope to make the newman cent er an intellectual center of catholic thought in the area attracting promin ent intellectual thinkers sister syl via cox of the order of st francis said cox joined ministry staff at lehigh in august and is working at the newman center on talyor street above taylor gym i want to see students develop a sense of religion not only spiritually but also socially psychologically and intellectually she said according to cox she was attracted sister cox joins newman center family to lehigh because of the diversity of the student body and how commited they are to service to others i am impressed by the generosity of heart i'm very excited to work with them she said the short time cox has been at lehigh has been a period of adjust ment and meeting new people she said i'm still getting to know many new people everyone has been so so kind and helpful she added enthus iastically religion is absolutly
