campus until a response is received from the state capitol m harrisburg construction on the pub cannot begin jennifer volchko associate dean of stu dent life said that the university administra tion has done all that it can they have answered all of the government's questions and tried to ease any uncertainties this is different from what they have seen before she said colleges around here do not have liquor licenses lehigh is trying to forge new ground volchko explained and that takes some time to accomplish volchko also pointed out that it is diffi cult for the state to accept that people not of drinking age will be m the same environ ment as a pub which can only accept cus tomers that are 2 1 or older in establishing the pub lehigh may be setting a new precedent for many other col
