toughen up and issue 100 a's a semester for each of lehigh's three colleges some professors indeed feel they have re laxed their grading standards to fit today's lehigh students according to some mathematics said there are many profes sors in the math department who think lehigh students are not quite as well prepared as they used to be this alleged decline in incoming students skills has led scholar election the good scholar election spon sored by zeta psi fraternity offi cially began sunday as those partici pating took part in the good scholar election campus walk the primary goal of the walk was to raise addi tional funds for the competition all proceeds from the walk and the good scholar election will be donated to the american cancer so ciety through the lehigh valley unit cancer society which is committed to cancer research each student must have a 3.5 grade point average in order to participate most of the students participating represent specific organizations on campus
