constantly decreasing ever so slightly for the past several years tiefenbrunn said next year's 1993-94 6.3 per cent increase in tuition will equal 1,050 raising costs to 17,750 the cost for room and 30 students in maginnes before the power was lost ellis said it shows how dependent we are on technology he had to cancel class about 20 minutes early since he could not show the video ellis said that power was out for about 25 minutes in maginnes before phone service was not widely affected according to falasca he said that the phones have a battery backup which protects the phone's power for about one hour falasca said they needed to reset equipment though the response was varied across campus students in packard laboratory attended class on their normal schedule while at least one class in maginnes hall had to be cancelled the computer networks including the lan shut down but resumed service with by kevin kniffin assistant news editor asa packer and mountaintop campuses lost power for about one hour on wednesday afternoon disrupting some classes gary falasca director of physical plant said that the outage resulted from an accident during routine maintenance at the 69,000 volt sub-station on mountaintop some thing happened during maintenance on the relay falasca said but we're not sure whether or not it was bad equipment or the human factor falasca was at a meeting during
