1989 rush as very successful for all the fraternities i think it went well for everyone because this year's freshman class has an endless list of good names i don't see how any house didn't come out well myers also said this year was better than last because this year's freshman rush was more successful than last year with 383 bids accepted to 31 fraternities according to the interfraternity council ifc rush chairman howie butterman 90 and alan wit tman 91 contrary to the myth that the popularity of the greek system may be decreasing butterman said there were 12 more bids accepted this the pro-choice rally in washington d.c grumbling in the early morning cold members of the lehigh commun ity climbed aboard the bus leaving for the nation's capital at 5:30 a.m as the buses pulled out a few people tried to get some sleep however most were too excited and talked about the issues the buses clattered on toward their destination as the sun rose a bright and mild day dawned on
