candidates an on-going process for any person elected to be a repre sentative the support staff will have to share the charge by snowing continued interest m the work of the committee she said young concentrated on what she con sidered the three major concerns needing attention she listed these as a salary closer m comparison to other institutions m the area the need for more promotion opportunities for secretaries and a better system of faculty-staff communication miller said the first thing to do is to make communication between supervisor and support staff better and more open residence halls and fraternity houses only at group social affairs when chaperones are present and petitions have been of ficially approved according to the university handbook hours set for system a job notice for the position of director of residence operations will be circulating soon lee said noting that robert reeves assistant dean of students has known for a long time that lee was considering the california job reeves and barbara kreppel assistant director of residence operations will handle the day-to-day affairs of the office until a new dintetor is named he added lee said ms successor should have a good understanding of student affairs and possess knowledge of the business operations of the residence operations office lee became director of the reaktant operations office
