on a comment made in the trustee law school report that alumni have serious doubts that a law school should be made part of the university's role in higher education cramer said the comment was probably true of some alumni but that the alumni in general don't have this feeling there are always opposing views in any group and of our 25,000-plus alumni most would be in favor of a law school he said the law school was not feasible at this time in ligiit of the new century cam paign cramer said the campaign is for the benefit of lehigh in all phases and therefore it is necessary that we follow it he said maintain balance for our continued existence we must try and maintain a balanced budget as we have in the past cramer continued if we say realign the budget and allocate more money for the law school then we will lose credence with everyone who is giving money and furthermore will ruin the campaign and ourselves he said cramer said that the door is not closed on the law school noting the law school report merely made a recom mendation that the board of trustees should not approve the law school at this time although the law school is not feasible at this time the establishment of a law school in the future will be of great benefit to lehigh and its students cramer said calling the law school a great step forward he said he envisioned students graduating from
