said peters in discussing his experiences and those of his amer ican colleagues the jitters are due chiefly to the fact that you work so much and there's nothing you can do to really relax the trains bus.'42 president of arcadia announced last night that 214.50 had been recevied from the living groups but to this total only nine of the 29 fraternities had made their dona tions the annual drive made by ar cadia student governing body is in progress all this week and it is hoped that the end of the week will raise the total well above the 250 mark donations to the cam pus community chest are made by the living groups whose funds will be apportioned by arcadia to take care of all solicitations by charity organizations the purpose of this chest is to alleviate the student of all de mands throughout the year the plan has been in operation for four years and has proven success ful and applicable to the needs of the students as well as the organ izations donations usually budgeted by the cluded senator robert taft of ohio senator pepper of florida ambassador cudahy and several professors of prominent universi ties 45 turn out to organize collecting of wood chairmen chosen commuters to indivi dual sections in the assignment of men to dormitory rooms under the present setup two more or less con flicting systems are used although there is a priority list for dormitory applicants at the bursar's office men wishing to re lease their rooms are permitted to sublease them in many cases to other students of their own choos ing this practice diminishes the chances for men on the
