council ifc judiciary com mittee next week to answer charges of dirty ruahing according to craig hagelin committee chairman the seven fraternities involved are sigma alpha mv alpha chi rho sigma chi theta delta chi kappa sigma lambda chi alpha and phi kappa theta the flrat five are accused of having rush ing dinners while the last two are accused of having freshmen present during a period of closed rush the charges resulted from visits to thirteen fraternities by the ifc fact find ing committee on the evening of friday january 30 according to dft n breene chairman of the fact finding committee the visits resulted from comments over heard ln freshman residence halls concerning friday evening dinner dates breene also received some tips by phone the exact date of the hearing has not been set as yet two members ofthe judiciary committee craig hagelin and k c thompson must be replaced for this case because their fraternities are involv ed according to hagelin the appointment of substitutes is holding up the scheduling of the case several of the fraternities accused felt that some confusion existed with respect to the rules however copies of a letter of clarification were june of 1968 the proposed 4.5-million project is slated to provide 148 graduate housing units long range plans include 300 additional housing facilities totaling 400 living apartments according to paul franz vice president m charge of development the original agreement stated that construction was to begin within two years and failure to do so would empower the bra to reacquire the land and place it on the open market franz stated the delays reflect the difficulties involved ln acquiring finances for this type of project tn order to obtain financing the university had to receive
