connection with the centennial development campaign according to warren gould di rector of development the new movie is designed to depict le high's present educational posi tion and its needs to be provided through the 22 million develop ment program the movie will be shown to alumni attending centennial drive kickoff dinners in march and will be made available for student viewing as soon as possible gould said the new movie produced by the russell r benson co of in dianapolis is not a replacement for watchman on the moun tain gould said unlike watch man which was a general pub lic wednesday night the crew made three separate visits to the campus once in oc tober for outdoor shots once in november for the centennial convocation and again this past week to film classroom scenes indefinitely for disorderly conduct on the campus of a neigh boring women's college the stu dent allegedly struck a resideni housemother with resulting injury to her a senior mechanical engineer ing student was assessed one dis ciplinary demerit for unaccept able disrespectful actions di rected to a member of the fall 19g3 houseparty judiciary com mittee the action was recom mended by that committee for repeated violations of tho parking an.d traffic regulation . two junior arts students a junio • business student and a senior business student were assessed one disciplinary demerit house — president johnson and his wife lady bird as they briefly address the reception for college editors attending the sixth international affairs conference centennial promotion lehigh produces movie three hundred and fifty college editors who visited the white house monday found the reception there impressive and cordial as they met the president his wife and his daughter lynda the reception highlighted and concluded the sixth international affairs conference for college editors and was made even more mem orable when the president interrupted actor hal holbrook during his humorous portrayal of mark twain mr johnson entered the crowded east room stepped onto the strge and chatted briefly with holbrook he then spoke to the group of applauding editors who stood throughout his short visit the presi dent expressed hope that the students could learn and see and improve themselves during their visit to washington johnscn then quoted from mirabeau buonaparte lamar poet and the president had finished he shook hands with a number of students among them this writer who were standing close to him and mrs johnson he then left the room and holbrook continued his performance throughout the afternoon mrs johnson lynda bird and warrie smith lynda's classmate at george washington college stayed with the visiting students they remained seated during the performance and then
