oct 14 sheltermate no 23 lehigh's band has been invited to play at the new york world's fair they will perform sunday afternoon oct 4 1964 the day after lehigh plays yale at the yale bowl in new haven conn the band will travel by bus to new york city after the football game stay the night and then continue on to the flushing meadows fair site sometime sunday the world's fair corp invited the band to play at the fair after the university completed preliminary arrangements and fair officials auditioned recordings the band sent to them the band has now signed a contract and has submitted its
