continued on supplement no change in hours upon the request of the editor in-chief coach reiter has given to the brown and white the fol lowing statement concerning sat urday's game lafayette won the game on sat urday on the merit of her playing at the psychological moment one of these moments came in the third period of the game when marshall received a punt at maximum speed on his 50-yard line and dashed to lehigh's 8-yard line it was the same player in the early part of the game who in conjunction with the shift and delayed pass tore straight through the line for several long gains this fact had left its im pression and the moral to play closer it paved the way for dannehower on lehigh's 8-yard line after two assaults to gain the coveted touchdown by means of a quarter-back run behind compact interference around their right tackle the second critical moment came when on a direct pass from center the slippery ball eluded the back's hands and kelly the aggres sive left tackle came tearing through and scooping up the ball with a clear field before him dashed 45 yards for a touchdown danne hower failed to kick the goal mak ing the score 11 to 0 all the scor ing came in quick succession show ing the psychology of the maxim there is a tide in the affairs of men which taken at its flood leads on to success in the first half there was little to choose between the two teams if anything the advantage seemed to be lehigh's the last period was a stand-off practically a punt ing duel between kelly and paz zetti naturally the outcome of this game was a disappointment but we would not detract one iota from the glory which deservedly belongs to the victors the game on the whole was clean stubbornly con tested and remarkably free from injuries with the season's work as a
