if the wants of a people are sim ple said dr cattell it is possible to have a kind of an equality of op portunity and of resources as found among the lower animals and sav ages but when society is thrown into either a patriarchial feudal despotic or oligarcic system if then the material resources are not sufficient to provide adequately for all the stronger sieze them and the many weaker ones must toil in ig norance and poverty in order that a few may have knowledge leisure and luxury however with the ap plication of science to industry and commerce to the prevention of dis ease and premature death it be comes possible to provide equality continued on fourth page pratt here tomorrow in a very exciting basketball game in the gymnasium last satur day night lehigh won from al bright college by a score of 37-30 although the brown and white five had the lead almost the entire game the visitors by hard playing kept close and the outcome was not as sured until the final whistle albright started the scoring by 2 field goals by benf er ; but lehigh soon passed this lead and held it with the exception of a short period of tie until the end of the game bet ter floor-work and passing on le high's part gave the brown and white a score of 20-12 at the end of the first half albright's com plete failure to shoot fouls held down their score greatly in the second half albright
